I’ve been photographing southeast Wisconsin weddings and families for ten years. Long enough to know what I’m doing on a chaotic wedding morning or with a toddler who has decided, firmly, that today is not a photos day. Long enough to have stopped chasing the “perfect” posed shot, because the photos people actually cry over are never the posed ones. They’re the in-between moments — the ones you didn’t know were happening until you saw them later.
So that’s what I shoot. My work is candid and documentary at its core, with just enough gentle direction that you never feel lost. My editing runs warm and a little moody — it’s the thing clients reach out about most — but always true to color, so it reads as yours and not like a filter that’ll feel dated by next year.
My job, honestly, is to take the pressure off. Most people don’t feel natural in front of a camera, and you don’t have to. I’ll guide you when you need it and get out of the way when the moment’s already there. You show up as you are; I do the rest. Sneak peeks land within 24 hours because the wait is the worst part, and I’d rather you have something to hold onto right away.
I photograph weddings, families, maternity, newborns, milestones, and seniors across Milwaukee, Waukesha, Wauwatosa, New Berlin, and southeast Wisconsin — and I’ll happily travel for the right day.
Life moves fast and the people in it grow faster. I make photographs that still feel like you years from now — honest, a little moody, never stiff. Just your real life, kept.
If that sounds like what you’re after, I’d love to hear from you.
